These terms apply to your use of mahjmatstudio.com and purchases from Mahj Mat Studio. Shopify provides our store and checkout platform. Your purchase is from Mahj Mat Studio, and we remain your contact for order support.

Using the store

You must have legal capacity to make a purchase or have permission from an appropriate parent or guardian. Provide accurate contact, delivery and payment information, and use only payment methods you are authorized to use. Do not use the site for fraud, unlawful activity, malicious code or interference with other customers or the service.

Products and descriptions

We sell printed-to-order mahjong mats. The design, selected size, price and included items are shown in the product listing and order summary. Please review them before payment. Tiles, racks and styling accessories shown in photographs are not included unless expressly stated.

Decorative textures and metallic-looking accents are printed effects rather than raised materials or metallic foil. Screens and printing processes can produce small color differences. This does not excuse a material mismatch, defect or misleading product description.

Orders and payment

Prices are displayed in US dollars unless checkout explicitly states another currency. Checkout displays the total, including shipping charges and any applicable taxes, before you submit your order. By submitting an order, you authorize payment of that total.

We will send an order acknowledgment to the email address provided. If an item is unavailable, an order contains a material pricing or description error, or we cannot fulfill an order, we will contact you with the available options. We will not increase the amount charged without your agreement. If we cancel an order we cannot fulfill, we will refund the payment for the canceled items and any applicable shipping charges.

Production, shipping and cancellations

Estimated delivery is 11–19 business days, including 6–9 business days for production and 5–10 business days for shipping. See our Shipping Policy for destinations, charges, tracking and delays.

Contact us immediately to request a change or cancellation. We will check the production status. Voluntary changes or cancellations cannot be guaranteed once production starts. Any mandatory cancellation rights remain unaffected.

Returns, defects and refunds

We do not offer voluntary returns or exchanges for a change of mind or an incorrectly selected size or design. This does not remove your rights if a product is defective, damaged, incorrect, misdescribed or not delivered. Please read our Return and Refund Policy before ordering.

Privacy and communications

Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled. Order-related messages are used to administer your purchase. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in those emails without affecting order support.

Artwork and website content

Our artwork, photographs, text, branding and other site content are protected by applicable intellectual property rights. Purchasing a mat does not transfer ownership of the artwork or grant permission to reproduce it commercially. You may use the site and its information for personal shopping and other uses allowed by law.

Availability and third-party services

We aim to keep the site accurate and available, but access may be interrupted for maintenance or technical reasons. Third-party websites and payment services have their own terms. This does not transfer our responsibilities for your purchase to those providers.

Your rights and resolving a problem

Please contact us first if there is a problem so we can try to resolve it. Nothing in these terms excludes mandatory consumer protections, statutory remedies, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. You retain any rights to use relevant regulators, dispute-resolution processes or courts. These terms do not require you to waive those rights or bring every claim in Switzerland.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms for future use and purchases. Changes do not remove rights agreed for an existing order. The version presented when you placed your order applies to that purchase.
